    Starting selling your beer?

    Hi, We have done a few all grain brews now with quite a bit of success and are now wondering about selling it at the local farmers market. What do we need to do? Does anyone sell on a small scale? Do you have to set up as a business and will this cost a lot? Thanks:mug:

    How easy is it to replace a tap?

    Hi, While brewing yesterday the tap on my brew kettle started leeking from a split in the side of it, I hastily taped it up but need to replace it. How easy is it to do this? Will the seal be good enough? Thanks

    Hello and help!

    Thanks, I will leave it alone! So how do you brew a higher alcohol beer? Is it just based on the mash, does more grain equal more alcohol or is it more to do with the quality of the mash process? We used 4kg of grain in a 5 gallon brew kettle and it seemed an awful lot of grain

    Hi Jekster We used a brew kettle to mash the grain but the grain bag we had was too small and so I don't think that the grain moved around enough, I am going to make a new bag - a sort of lining for the kettle and use that instead so it should be better next time. So would you not risk...

    Hello, We did our first all grain brew yesterday but are a bit disappointed with the hydrometer reading of only 1030. Can we add some sugar to this to increase the % or will this ruin the beer? Thanks!
