My wye challenger grows like a weed in Edinburgh. I've had to curtail its activities this autumn with a shovel to keep it under control.

If your really in the uk it'll be less hassle and taste better if you pick up whatever the cheapest own brand gin is in stock in tesco etc... And then do the sensible thing and wait until sloe season. Or repeat the above with vodka and steep your "gin" aromatics.

Try the home brew shop. Fairly certain hoegaarden is a bottling yeast and leffe is not sold bottle conditioned.
