Just because the airlock is not bubbling there may still be fermentation going on. If your doing a primary only. I recommend keeping it there for 3 weeks. Start taking hydrometer readings about 2 weeks 3 days in. Make sure the reading does not drop 3 days later and then Bottle it.
Thanks for the quick reply, I bottle so dont have any kegs yet. and all my other fermentation buckets are full. I am also assuming i should use half the amount of hops?
I have an Ipa thats been in primary for 3 weeks. Was going to Dry hop it, But it tastes good and SWMBO likes it just how it is. Would it be ok to rack half of it to bottling bucket then dry hop the remaining half in the primary for anothr week ?

i use the ld carlson cleaner and one step sanitizer.
Just cracked another one that sat for an extra two days before i put it in the fridge. Taste is not as bad, it is kinda sweet mabe just needs a bit longer, sat 2 weeks primary , 1 week secondary and bottle about alitte over two weeks now.
