Does payment include security? Company here has large lot across from building with security at the entrance and roving patrols. Yesterday, guy who works for me calls and said his two drivers side tires were stolen. Last week a car was stolen. Broad daylight. Go figure, you get what you pay...
My most memorable never again would be ouzo (sp?) Drank that and beer exclusively at my bachelor party. Ended up getting sick and passed out. Was up at 6 the next morning cooking omlets for everyone else. They woke to the smell and got sick themselves. It's been nearly 20 years and haven't...
Just popped open my first Brewers Best American Cream Ale. This is my first ever attempt and I only have one word. WOW! :ban: It's only been in the bottle for one week and tastes great. Lacking the carbonation, but hopefully it will come. I only have one regret. Only that I didn't put...
On Saturday I racked to the secondary (glass carboy) after being in the primary for a week. Airlock activity has been zero since day three. Had a taste at transfer time and it tasted fine. I looked in on the brew on Sunday and there appeared to be a few small white patches on the top. Looked...

Well I got it down to 76 degrees and then pitched with two packs of Nottingham's which I re-hydrated. The airlock started activity within 3 hours, about 1 bubble per second. Woke up this morning and the bubbles slowed to about 1 every 10 seconds. I plan on racking to the secondary in one...
I have a question about cooling as well. Sticking the brew pot into an ice bath with the lid on, whats the best way to tell what the temp is? Take the lid off and stick in a thermometer every once in awhile? Wouldn't this risk comtamination?
