    8.8 cu ft keezers

I'm traveling, but can provide a pic and measurements when I get back home next Monday. I have the black 8.8 kenmore with a 3 tap tower (no collar) from keg connection. I keep 2 cornies, a commercial sixtel, and my 10 lb co2 on the floor. I often have a 7.5 gallon as my commercial (love...

Keezers and that "built in" look...

Guntr - i love your build. Are you able to get a 10 # co2 tank without a collar? I'm trying top figure out if 5# will work with 2 on tap, and another carbing. i think i saw your picture with the 5$ on the hump. I agree, btw, on the semi-portability you mention...wheels to move it around...

Keezers and that "built in" look...

Thank you Ubermick. I could've written the exact same question. We also have some unused space that we're looking to turn into a bar area. Like you mentioned, I'd like three taps min, but with the ability to hold 4 cornies (maybe four taps). I've debating the last couple weeks between a...

    What’s your rhythm – brewing/bottling/storing?

thanks EvilGnome - so looks like you stagger such that your transfer to secondary triggers a brew day, generally speaking. Makes sense.

    What’s your rhythm – brewing/bottling/storing?

I brewed my first batch on Monday and can’t stop thinking about/planning my next brew day. I’m considering doing my second batch on the day I bottle in a few weeks. Is that too ambitious? I’d hate for my fermenter to get too lonely. :drunk: I’m thinking my process would be to bottle, get...

    1st brew today - I had 4 errors!

yes, I'm keeping a close eye on my fermenter - it's slowed to a bubble. The foaming has stopped, just a gentle consitent bubbling. I'm the only one I know amongst my friends home-brewing. So this website is golden. I'd love to find out about other lhbs in the bay area or in NoCA. I've...

    how much does brewing smell?

when I brewed yesterday, the smell spread quickly throughout the house. At one point, my daughter said it smelled like corn flakes. I cracked a couple windows about 30mins into the boil. Within an hour after I cleaned up the smell was gone. My wife made a couple jokes about "Phil's Brewery...

    1st brew today - I had 4 errors!

Gremlyn - thanks for the laugh! Shooter - I used a lhbs in Livermore. I chose the "Livermore IPA" recipe and it called for the second addition of hops right after the heat was turned off. I just checked the bag and they're Czech Saaz. It's actually only 1oz, so maybe I'll go get another...

    1st brew today - I had 4 errors!

great, thank you for the feedback. The suport here is exactly why I signed up. Thank you for helping me to decide to upgrade my membership. I do still have the 2oz hops in the fridge - I figured out that I forgot to add while pulling a microbrew from the fridge after cleaning everything...

    1st brew today - I had 4 errors!

thank you for the thoughts. I'm already thinking of buying another carboy and having another brew day soon, even before I bottle this batch. As I mentioned, I learned so much today, looking forward to continuing my journey...

    1st brew today - I had 4 errors!

Hi - thanks for everyone's input to the site...I've learned so much over the last few months. Today, I did my first brew - it was an extract IPA recipe. I think I made 4 errors...would love your thoughts on the severity. Did I ruin my batch? Today was an incredible learning...
