I love Toasted Lager....it's a nice slice of home for me. Whenever I head back to LI, I always go to the brewery...it's about 10 minutes down the road from where I grew up. Can't wait to hear the results!
I'm sure they are really backlogged with all of the orders they probably received because of the sale. I ordered my stuff on Saturday (3/26) and it still hasn't been shipped yet. I know I gave them a slew of new business by telling some homebrew friends about their sale.
Yep, along with everyone else I go with throwing them in with 15 minutes left in the boil. It gives it the spicing you need/want without being way overpowering. I've always strained it out and still had the spicing be to my liking
Well, well, well...it appears that BMC is causing all of the world's major problems. I propose we figure out a way to fix this ASAP!
In keeping with the theme, I did hear that the hole in the ozone layer has been caused by BMC....
I actually screwed up when I said AB when it may not be AB at all...it could be MillerCoors because they're the ones who actually have ads that play during the show. In any case, I just thought it was an interesting find. I'm not saying a word about it until there is some official statement...
I came across this blog on Twitter today and thought you guys might find this to be an interesting read, especially with all the other AB talk this week:

Totally off topic and not to get into a discussion about it but I noticed you're from Centereach...I'm originally from Holbrook and go back all the time because my family and friends are pretty much all still there!
Yeah, I've been doing partial mashes via BIAB and it's great! I want to get a bigger pot before I do it all-grain but BIAB is definitely the way to go!
Just to share my own experience, I brewed an Agave Wit back in February on a Saturday night. I put my carboy in the basement and let it do it's thing without checking up on it until Wednesday (yes, a whole 4 days). When I went into the basement that fateful Wednesday after work, I saw the bung...
Congrats! I stepped up to partial mash recently too and think it's awesome! All I could think about during it was how I can't wait to go all grain! It definitely isn't as scary as I thought it was and I'm glad other people are seeing that too!
