The feedback was pretty good. One judge scored it a 44 and it didn't really have any criticism. The other that scored it a 41 added there was a bit of astringency, which I guess I should try and fix. His handwriting was a little hard to read though

Mine was in Dallas also. It came in an email last night. Apparently, it went to a mini best of show but then didnt place...oh well :-)

Anyone get any scoresheets back yet and want to share? My first time entering a contest and I was pretty psyched to see my IPA get a 42.5. It managed to not place though.

I was having an issue in the summer because my tap water was 72. Since we have a double sink to work with we made an icebath in one side and coiled the tubing running to the chiller through it. Also, put the wort in an ice bath in a large plastic container. These things and stirring...
