    Help please identify stainless dulling

I've already tried bar keepers friends without much luck. It's quite possible it's been bleach soaked, although it's not pitted at all. If it has been bleached what could be done?

    Help please identify stainless dulling

So an update on this, I've scrubbed with BKF which hasn't really done a lot, I've soaked in citric acid and again no change in appearance - any other help is appreciated thanks!!

Thanks guys, I'll give them a try. I've talked to the previous owner who thinks he left something acidic in their too long? Does that change anything?

    Help please identify stainless dulling

Hey, I've got hold of 2 stainless steel pots, but they have some discolouration inside, can anyone help work out what it is and if anything can be done about it? I don't imagine it would effect the brewing? Thanks Mark
