I have Winter Luxury pumpkins growing in the garden this year. I hope to get enough to make this recipe. I am a sucker for Pumpkin Ale!

I am thinking about a quick batch of beer and this would fit the bill. The problem is that I don't have any Cara-pils on hand. I know Cara-pils adds body so what would be a good sub for this?

I would say yes on your 90 minute boil. Boiling longer allows a more malty profile to come out. I use this when brewing styles that focus on malt and not hops. Of course the 90 minute IPA bucks this theory ;)
