Home Brewing Biography
I saw an article in Parade magazine in 1990 about a brew in a bag system, kinda like a pillow. I sent away, got it and brewed it. It was not good, but I was amazed, we got a buzz. About a year later, I saw a show by Charlie Papazian where he brewed in 5 gal water juds. I was hooked. Brewed a lot at the end of the last millennia and into this one, but kinda stopped a dozen years ago. kept all my equipment. Started brewing again this past year.
Primary
6.5 gallon glass fermenter that was a nitric acid container a millnia ago.
Secondary
Various 5 gal glass containers.
Bottled
A fair amount. I use brown swing top bottles. I have 2 litre, 1 litre, .66 Fischer bottles and .5 brown Grolsch bottles.
