Any advice on homemade liqueur making?

Hello all from the Philippines, I'm trying to do some Liqueurs here (just started) and Vodka is very cheap, regardless of the brand. My biggest problem is getting any kind of glass containers, so I'm wondering about plastic beer bottles for making and storing the finished product. If anyone has...

It would take about two weeks or longer, and:mug::mug: by that time I'll have the primary frozen and thawed. But thanks for the thought.

    Skeeter Pee

Hi all, I have a problem and am looking for advise to cure my problem. I used a cake from a date wine that I was fermenting on my skeeter pee and I turned the SP really dark, it's almost fermented completely and at this time I'm cold crashing to see if I can get a nice yellow-green color back...

    Skeeter Pee

I don't know if anyone has given you an answer, but my 48 oz. bottle says it contains the juice of 31 lemons. 48/31=1.54 oz of juice per lemon.

Rice syrup solids, rice solids and not the same thing. Rice syrup solids are the dried solids from rice syrup. Rice solids would be like flaked rice, or liquefied cooked white rice, like a watery rice soup the Chinese eat daily. Now my question is how to prepare wheat berries for use in the...

I would like to try the BIAB method, but limited to a 22qt. pot, I also have another pot of 18 qts., I think maybe between the two pots, I might be able to do "something" even if it's wrong.

    Newbie Unusal Problems

Yes, maybe I could have been plainer on HB (extract) kits vs PM and AG. At this time I don't know of a Blue Moon type in an extract kit. Or a Shinner's, or a Fat Tire. I see clones in a PM, but it looks to me like the PMs are priced dear. If I were to do all grain, how many types of grain would...

    Newbie Unusal Problems

First of all, I'm Jerry, an expat living in the Philippines, and there are no LHBS here. So that gets to the heart of my problem right now. Extract brewing is not my cup of tea (or bottle of beer), Coopers make a nice selection of kits, that the HB has very little control over, basically 6 gal...

    Pina Colada Melomel

Coconuts: Coco flour, toasted has had the oil pressed out, then toasted. Very small amount of oil left. Expect to pay dearly for this by-product of Coco oil refining, Tastes great tho and a lot of fiber. Green Coconut has a very nice taste, not sure about oil content, the meat is opaque, and soft.
