I used these on 5 gallons of Dundalk Irish Heavy and took them camping. Held up quite well and didn't seem to alter the flavor at all from a glass bottle. Experiment went very well.
I have been drinking a lot of Miller Lite in the aluminum pints lately (hate away) and have just been throwing them in the recycle. Could I use them for bottling and then take my homebrew with me to places like the lake, picnics, etc?
Same batch, no starter used. I used Hef IV as the recipe suggested. I had some activity about 12 hours after pitch but it has since stopped. Would repitching be ok at this point?

Houston... I think I have a problem. Had a hint of krausen that has since dissipated and next to zero pressure pushing on the airlock. Temp of the water bath this is in is 67 so it should be close to optimum temp.
Pitched on Wednesday, any ideas.

I've made the Lemon-Lime Hef in the recipe section a couple times now. It calls for Motueka as supposedly its very citrusy. My LHBS didn't have it but I substituted Sterling for it and it turned out pretty good.
Brewed the Lemon-Lime Hef last night and was having major issues. Ran out of propane as I was heating up to boil. Stalled at 200 when I ran out. Got it refilled after they normally stopped filling (the only good thing of the night). Got home and it had cooled to ~180 and got it back heating...
This is my first beer I've kegged so forgive my ignorance. I brewed the Lemon-Lime Hefe in the recipe section. It sat at 30psi in the fridge for a 8-9 days. Vented it and lowered it down to 5-6 psi to serve. All I get is foam!!! I have 5 feet of hose leading to picnic tap. Help!
Mine really hasn't done a whole lot since pouring in the lime-aid. It's bubbling about once every couple seconds. I poured it in about 48 hours ago. Don't want to openly risk an infection by opening it back up. Is this normal?
