Thanks for the responses. I do realise that I could have split the DME into 2x1kg batches and boiled this up in 2 pots, but I steered away from that as having to watch 2 pots for boilovers had me worried, and I knew that I didn’t HAVE to get a hot break from the DME for a coopers kit...
