Adding an s30 valve to a firkin

Hi everyone. Not sure if the question has been asked before but has anyone ever added an s30 valve to a firkin before? I know it wouldnt technically be classed as 'real ale' but i hate the thought of 5+ gallons going bad because theres no co2 blanket. It would only need a squeeze just to allow...

    Tribute Tribute (St. Austell)

Defo the cask version. Ive seen another recipe where there are only 2 hop additions. Fuggles at fwh and the styrian and willamette at 6mins. Im going to try that one next and see what happens.

Autumn Seasonal Beer Samhain Pumpkin Ale

I searched high and low for rice hulls. Being in the uk, we dont really use them. I never had a stuck sparge. I used maris as a sub and turned out fine.

Do you have the hop AA%? Ive done a few brews now and although very tasty and close, i feel its missing something. Maybe i need to add more hops to get the taste. I dont get that floral note that the original has. Im doing this again next week and wanted to get it spot on this time. Cheers

    Keg to brew kettle/hlt

Wouldnt it be the same for a side exit? Tube goes in, drops 90° to pick up and syphon all the wort out the center. Id still put a false bottom in.

    Keg to hlt/boiler

Hi all. Am i missing something here?! Im converting some poor looking old kegs into some new brewing kettles. One hlt, one boiler and possibly one mash tun. My question is, is there a reason for not having the outlet come out the underside? All the boilers ive seen have the outlet straight...
