- I started brewing right out of college in 1995. My first batch was a Shiner Bock extract clone. I wasn’t satisfied with my first extract batch and found instructions (in the 90s ...) for my first all grain. I never looked back. Career and move slowed my progress down so I took a break from it all. Years later I had a hankering to brew but just a small batch because I didn’t feel like unpacking my brewery from storage. One thing led to another and I could not stand not having my set-up. So, I’m slowly putting the brewery back together and have a goal of having a HERMS system soon.
