also I had to moved the thermometer around and place it agaisnt the freezer plate as it must be calibrated to be right next to the cooling unit....couldnt get the temp above 32F no matter how low I set the dail...moved it and now it looks like it works alot better at holding a lower temp

Its a Igloo fr464.. got it at walmart for about $150. 4.6 cubic feet. Had a freezer in it. I had to disconnect the freezer and bend it down so it fits agaisnt the back wall. Then the shelves are molded directly to the door so I had to cut them off. Did not have to do any other mods to it other...

Just got into brewing this month... Got a batch of Irish stout and Skeeter Pee brewing away so while I wait I built a kegerator... Two tapper... Also made a wort chiller..... This hobby is worse then crack
