You're pretty much right, I think I may have over engineered it a little. The stand weighs in at 205 lbs. without the 809's and BG-14 burners. It should last a couple of lifetimes though. The concept was to be able to move up to 20 gal. batches if I wanted to.

Yeah, I don't expect to get lagering temperatures out of it. I was just looking for a better control on Ale ferments.

Somebody must have done this before. I couldn't find any pics though. Since I am putting the whole thing in my house I doubt it will need heat, so the plan is a fan at the end of each pipe hooked into a controller. I am curious if it is going to need a return air line or not, it would probably...

Yeah I always try to go towards the end. It makes it easier on the family when you only come back for a few months. If you go to early its like saying goodbye all over. Have fun man I'm right behind you. Dave

Just FYI, ordinary liquid dishsoap does exactly the same thing as Leak Tec. No need to pay for the fancy little bottle.
