I had the same issue. Compare the spec sheets for both ICs and see if the address range is the same.

I have auto resume on which does work however it disables sparge heating after it resets/resumes which I read was fixed already. It seems strange that it ran solid after I turned my router off.

Did you source parts and solder the iSpindel yourself? FYI, some of the cheap GY-291 accelerometers use a different address to what is coded in the iSpindel firmware.

Are you using the Plato or SG formula? Don't forget to add [SG] to the name of your iSpindel if you use SG based formula (iaw brewfather docs iSpindel - Brewfather - docs)
