I am an Athens, GA entrepreneur and I am pretty new (a few months in) to homebrewing but am looking to learn as much as possible. I own a bar and a travel company, but don't serve the brews at the bar (illegal).
I don't like overly hopped or too roasty beer - just because flavor is intense it doesn't mean you've created a good beer. I think a lot of new craft beers operate under the philosophy that adding more and more hops or roasting darker and darker will automatically make there beer interesting. However, I am of the philosophy that (to a point) there is someone out there that will genuinely enjoy almost every potable brew - so there is no perfect beer.
