I didn't have time to brew 2 complete batches yesterday so I mashed & sparged both batches in 2 different buckets & today I will finish both batches. Does anyone see any problem doing it this way.
I have 2nd year Golding & they are dry but don't smell much like hops. They are starting to turn brown & I have picked a couple & tore them open they are loaded with lupin (?). My question is should I pic them & dry them before they turn to brown?:confused:
They are in the ground, I have golding ( 2 nd year also & centennial (1st year) in the same garden & the are both producing cones, The Golding is relly full. We have had plenty of water & I fertilize with 12-12-12 once every 5-6 weeks
There were but I sprayed last week for the first time. I also fertilized with
12-12-12 Don't know why the Golding is so far ahead of the Hallertau. Any ideas?
