I'm having an old Boulevard Brewing Co 80 acre Hoppy Wheat prototype beer. It's basically their Wheat beer that's been dry hopped. Very smooth, slightly grainy with an aroma of a IPA. Very nice.
My brewclub JayHops in Kansas City is looking for a barrel to store a belgian for a few years...maybe a decade. I've contacted some local wineries, breweries but haven't been able to get one. Does anyone know where I can find and purchase a barrel?
I traded some mead for this keg so I don't know what it has/had in it. Is sod. percarbonate, oxyclean? will it remove beer stone? I don't know if there is any in the keg.
I've got three 5 gal batches of RIS finishing up their primary fermentation. I plan on putting them into a 15 gallon keg.
Here's my question...how do I sanitize this thing?!!! I'm planning on dropping a gallon of StarSan into it and shake the poop out of it.
Any other ideas?
