Don't know if it fits this discussion,but I used to have the same issues.The cause was Gluten, once that was reduced problems disappeared. I now brew gluten reduced beer using Clarity Ferm.

I would forget any of these software based controllers,they come and go and leave the buyers high and dry trying to figure out how to fix them. Unless you are software savy and enjoy tweaking them instead of brewing beer, then consider more conventional controllers .There are several DIY builds...

Right, I live at 5600 ft and water boils at about 203° F . Unless it's under pressure it won't get any hotter when it boils.
