    Dry hop with apollo

    Has anyone used them as dry hop, I've heard that is a killer bittering hop, but i was planning to add 2 oz of apollo as dryhop pairing it with citra and simcoe (2 oz of each) in my black ipa. Any suggestions or tips with this one? Im brewing 5 gal

    End of School Year IPA

    I'd totally recomend dry hopping. In my IPAs I dry hop with at least 4 oz. Your grain bill looks good. Personally I dont use caramel malts in my IPAs but I have try very tasty ones with caramel in the grain bill.

    Cause I like to double dry hop no more than 3 days each dry hop without bag, my equipment is able to do this without oxidation risks. So I dry hop the first 3 oz in the 5th day of fermantation and the other 3 when its over in secondary, you should try it! What would you change in the recipe?

    I'd use carafa special 3 not more than 5% of the grist and all the specialty malts on the vorlauf just to add color not complexity.
