    Bottle Bombs or Sweet/Flat Stout??

Why dump it? Why not star San the bottles and dump it into a secondary vessel and add a fresh batch of yeast? What can it hurt?

    Keg carbed but not serving

To see if it was a poppet issue, I swapped the heads on the lines and tried to push CO2 into the beer dip tube. Left it for a bit, came back, and no hiss on the release valve. Did you hear the CO2 bubbling in the beer when you switched the fittings? It sounds like it may be your CO2 fitting...

    Sitting on cake?

    It'll be fine. No worries.

    white spots/dots?

Looks like left over krausen stuck to the side after a vigorous fermentation. Nothing to worry about. Sent from my SM-N900P using Home Brew mobile app

Are you an extract or all-grain brewer?

Extract with Steeping grains. I can't see any reason to go all grain. I prefer most of my brews to the commercial equivalent. Plus it's fast and easy. I'm not sure why extract needs to be a "stepping stone". Sent from my SM-N900P using Home Brew mobile app

Do I need to replace C02 regulator?

You could take your regulator apart and clean it out. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Home Brew mobile app

    poppet making beer flat?

Do you get a foamy pour? I don't think it could be the poppet that is somehow bleeding the c02 in the second that it takes the beer to travel from the keg to the faucet. You could try swapping out parts from your working keg to eliminate the poppet. By the way. I just use a pair of pliers...

    Favorite American Brewery

For me it's Boulevard in KC. The only thing that they make that I don't really enjoy is their pilsner, but hey it IS a pilsner. All their beer is top notch especially their smoke stack series. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Home Brew mobile app

    New brewer, recipe

I don't think it will be "very" bitter, at least for my tastes. Sounds like it will turn out good to me. Let us know what she thinks.

    Kegerator to corney question

Do you see any real difference between the ball lock and pin locks as far as durability is concerned? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Home Brew mobile app

Technique During the Boil on Extract Brews

I don't do much to the pot at all while it's boiling. I just stir occasionally to make sure the hops aren't stuck to the sides. I don't put the DME in till the very end though. When I'm Steeping grains though I check the temp regularly. But that's about it. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Home...

American Pale Ale This is War Pale ale extract

This is a very drinkable pale ale I came up with that has good body and a nice biscuit after taste due to the victory malt. The hops are there but not pronounced. A crowd pleaser that the BMC crowd and the more "discerning palate" can enjoy equally. 16 oz Victory malt steeped at 160° for 35...

    New "miller fortune"

+1 I think they'd really have to work at it to get it any worse than Steel Reserve. It's been over 10 yrs since I tasted it but I can still remember the twangy metallic taste. I think it's the only beer I've ever had that I couldn't finish.

    A homebrewer alcoholic?

I guess I would consider myself a heavy drinker. 3-5 per night. I never get drunk but I definitely get buzzed. I too go without beer once or twice a week just to be sure that I can. I don't know where the line is between heavy drinker and alcoholic. But I've thought about it. I've actually...
