Barleywine with Terrible Efficiency
I brewed an all grain barleywine 3 days ago and the result was a staggeringly low OG of 1.07 compared to the target of 1.10. I typically get a decent efficiency of ~70% but this is more like 50% :O I never managed to get the sparge temp up to 170 it was about 155 by the end of the sparge and I...- OldGilbert

Counter Pressure Bottle Filler Missing a part???
I have been using the More Beer counter pressure bottle filler to bottle beer for a while now, but I went to use it yesterday and the CO2 just started coming out put the pressure release valve with no resistance. I tightened the end cap as much as I could, but found there must be a missing part...- OldGilbert

help me figure out the gravity of Riesling grape concentrate.
Yeah, the dilution will be linear. The beer sounds good I have never tried using grape concentrate...but it wont be long now- OldGilbert
