    Do I need a starter?

Thanks for the rundown. That's the easiest explanation I've seen so far. I'm going to put off brewing until Tuesday so the starter will have plenty of time to get up and running. This is my first recipe I've created and don't want to mess it up by rushing anything.

    Do I need a starter?

My target OG is 1.110 so I guess I'm going to make that starter afterall. Can anyone point me to a quick and dirty starter guide? Greetings from MA

Hi all. I'm living in central MA and have been brewing since October. I'm brewing my fifth batch tomorrow and am absolutely hooked. I have a 10 gallon AG set up I pieced together, though I'm only making 5 gallon batches thus far. I'm looking forward to learning and growing in this new hobby and...
