I also have a question being a first time brewer; I used a kit with two cams of malt and a packet of yeast. It's been 36 hours and no bubbles! There's pressure in fermenter because water in air lock has moved in the right direction. Do I have bad yeast, not enough aeration at pitching yeast...
Just racked first batch of plain mead to carboy and was surprised at heavy alcohol taste and lack of honey taste, just hoping aging takes care of that. Know to be patient and my SG was at 1.010 at racking.
