    First Brew

I'm not sure exactly what temperature I am serving it at but I usually set it out for 10-20 mins before drinking it. I've always found that the flavor of beer changes significantly with temp but no matter what temp this is served at, it's still bitter.

    First Brew

Thank you for all the recomendations. Looking back I think I did bottle to soon. I didn't have a SG but when I transfered it the gravity was 1.0181. Final gravity was 1.0149 and the target gravity was 1.010-1.012. I currently have a honey ale sitting in primary. How close to the target should...

    First Brew

    Big Yeast Ooops

I'm not sure what effect the wrong yeast is going to have or how/if you can change it. I am curious to see how it turns out though. Mistakes make new things and sometimes they are better than what you intended. Please keep us updated when you decide to bottle.

1 gallon Brooklyn brew shop question

Hello, I'm relatively new here but I've found the most common advice is to wait. Patience is the key to brewing. Also it might help if we had a little more info such as how long after brewing did the airlock activity start and stop, what yeast did you use, and if you have any gravity readings.

Honey ale, why are you such a jerk to me?

Great, now I'm paranoid. I just brewed the same honey bee ale 3 days ago. I was hoping it would be ready this summer but now it sounds like it won't be ready untill the fall or Christmas. BTW what was your OG? Mine was 1.040 which seemed a little low, but I might of drawn it from the top...
