    2 week dry hop?

    Thanks "CC". The fruit was an experiment for color only. I really don't want to taste it much if at all. As for the hop question, a big thanks ill be bottling this weekend.

    2 week dry hop?

    So after two weeks in the primary, my extract recipe called for a secondary of two weeks with a dry hop. This is a pale ale kit and I added some blackberries toward the end of my primary. Do I need two weeks in the secondary? I've heard/read that dry hopping is trending toward shorter time...

    Add Cherry Extract or leave it?

    I'm at the same place with my raspberry wheat. I have four ounces of extract but only plan on using about two. When all is said and done, if its not flavored enough then next time I will try more. Worst case scenario, its a slightly flavored wheat but too much and it could be "hard to swallow"...

    I have a local shop where I have bought my first two extract kits. No complaints, but I have a Northern Brewer catalog and want to try a couple recipes. Anyone know if those are extract kits? I'm not set up or ready for all grain yet. Any problems you might forsee with shipping / refrigeration...

    Fermenting bucket stains

    Just bottled my first ever batch. It's a "steam" beer, I'm told similar to a California Common. My question is about the fermenting bucket. After siphoning into the bottling bucket, and washing the bucket, there was still a stain on the walls of the bucket. Is this ok? Will it affect my next...
