Ah yes, then put a hole because if you forget to light a burner and your keggle is full it is going to suck.

Unless you do electric start you still need to light the pilots. I have holes to light the pilots but for my boil kettle (no pilot) I don't even use the hole. I just come from underneath with a long lighter.

Thanks guys. Here it is in action from Tuesday's 10gal Hoegaarden clone brew. Screwed up and used 2oz of bittering hops instead of 1oz. It's supposed to be around 13 IBU but probably will be 26. Probably won't be a big deal but I wanted this batch to be perfect. :(

Gadams, sorry I didn't see this post. The floor is 1/4" aluminum sheet that I had leftover from another project.

Disconnect all kegs, unplug fridge/freezer or better yet take all components out, turn the pressure up and take the gauge covers off then listen carefully.

I split a 10 gallon batch into 5 gallons as is and 5 gallons dry hopped for 5 days with 1oz each Cascade/Centennial. All I can say is WOW is the dry hopped version tasty!! :rocking:

I just drilled and tapped the hardwood handles that I made. The wood is very hard and dense though. What wood are you using?

It's mostly clamped and glued but I did use finish nails in certain areas.

Correct. The skirt is not attached, it just slides out of the way.

****WARNING**** Ball lock Cornelius kegs will not fit with the standard disconnects on. They are about 1/2" too tall and the lids rests on the lines where they exit the disconnects. The top must be spaced or the inside of the lid needs to be cut. I suggest a 3/4" spacer. Also a 5# tank will not...
