That is hilarious, saw the suggestion echoing what I had heard about whole beans after the boil (brewed this up today, doing a whole bean coffee addition in secondary)... Totally glazed over the rest and didn't follow the link :)

Brewed this and it came out great, almost exactly to the OG and FG specs.
Used San Diefo yeast in lieu of getting Conan and modified the hop schedule to accommodate my hops.
Lasted about 3 weeks, first week each long drawn was like an orange sidle in a cup, aroma started faltering into week...
Tried brewing This twice with ultra low SG both times... Realized my LHBS' grinder was busted.
I can say, at about 50% efficiency this makes a compelling modelo *****/smithwicks light-dark beer to have on tap :)
