I am using wyeast pack and I incubated it and some thing came up. Now I can't boil till Tuesday. 1 1/2 days Should I put in the fridge to delay it or let it at 70 degrees?
I tasted my beer for the first time while tranfering to secondary. I am not sure what to think. Without carbonation and 66 degrees it is hard to tell how it will turn out. What should a nut brown ale taste like at this point? It was kind of dry. I could taste the grains but it was not sweet...
My first brew was the same way. Insted of leaving it in the primary I transfered it to my secondary because I read it would clarify my beer. Do you think that was a good choice? I am planning on bottling this weekend. Too late now but for future reference.
I also used a turkey frier for my first batch. Someone just told me that I shouldn't use it because of the acidity of the aluminum during your boil. How true is that and should I switch to SS before my next batch
