Regular (Happen to be the cheapest too :D) I've heard of people using sweet potatoes too but I've never tried it, I wouldn't doubt if you could use any kind. On a separate note, you may want to plan a meal of mashed potatoes after making this, unless you don't mind tossing good food. Learned...

Wasn't using a hydrometer for this one, got me drunk just as fast though as the other method (10oz start feeling a good buzz)

1 week, slight carbonation that fades in an open container after about 15 mins or so.. 2 week, carbonated like champagne.. 3 weeks, carbonated like beer. Just an update for others trying to figure this out and having trouble. This is what I've found out. They were bottled after 1 month...

Just an update for anyone following this... The bottles work great, the pressure will push the bottom out a bit like the previous guy was saying. Bottles still stand up fine too, even with bulge on bottom since it is still flat on the very bottom.

Just tried a bottle today, it was carbonated but perhaps not quite enough (it wasn't fizzing but taste/texture/mouth feel.. was there already). It was really good! Good enough to drink one a day until they're complete, lol.

Just bottled Friday, there was some leftover that I tasted, flat so it tasted like crap.. But you could tell when it carbonates it will be real good! Just 3 more weeks to go now..
