Home Brewing Biography

I got into homebrewing via drinking a ton of beer in college, and a gifted Mr. Beer kit from my wife one Christmas. I quickly found HBT and started reading Palmer, Denny Conn, etc. and learned as much as I could before buying equipment.

Me and 3 friends started a homebrew group in 2011-2012 and have been using the same equipment since.

BK - Spike brewing 10 gal Kettle with sightglass and temp reading.
MLT - Igloo Industrial 10 gal with false bottom (promoted to MLT)
HLT - Rubbermaid x-treme 52qt cooler (demoted to HLT)

We brewed heavily from 2011-2016 until moves, kids, and life took over. Starting Sept 2019 we are back on the 2 month brew pipeline.

Plans to complete a 25A 5gallon eHerms setup by mid 2020.
