    Why are red wine kits disappointing?

    This thread is pretty old but I am in the exact same boat as you. I have made about 8 red wine kits ranging from my first super cheap Fontana kit to Winexperts, to Finer Wine kits. They all really taste the same to me as well. Finer Wine kits seems to be the best so far but still not much...
