I just finished brewing my first fruit beer yesterday and I am a bit concerned.
I pureed 4 lbs of frozen mixed berries and added to primary BEFORE adding any yeast (after aerating the wort). The fermentation has started now, but I have a few questions:
1) Is there a high risk...

So should I periodically aerate the beer or only when I first pour the wort into the carboy?
After reading the comments here I will refrigerate and decant.
So I was a bit ambitious:

I made a 32oz. yeast starter last night and I am wondering whether to pitch the whole thing tonight (the starter was pretty active this morning), or to wait another day or so and refrigerate/decant...
