[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Originally, I was using pin 2 to test, but that was a couple days ago before I reached out for help here. In the latest failed attempt before moving to the Nano I was on Mega pin 6, so maybe that was the issue. I might try back on pin 2 or one of the others you mentioned. Nano pins 5 and 6...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Thanks @RandR+ . I'll have to fiddle with the Mega a bit because, as far as I can tell, voltages look good to the flowmeters. I switched over to an Arduino Nano I had laying around and everything is working fine now.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

So among some normal output I've seen in the interface logs, running these commands had the following error print out: "('RPINTS: reflashing Arduino failed, moving on anyways, error was: ', CalledProcessError())" So something isn't communicating properly it seems. Edit: Turned on...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

So I've been messing around with Rpints now for a couple weeks, big thanks to @RandR+ and @bscuderi . I decided to do a fresh install on a clean Buster image, but for the life of me I can't get the flowmeters working anymore. I've done multiple fresh Buster/Rpints installs and no luck. I am...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

So first off, big thanks to everyone contributing here. I've been tinkering with this project and various forks/alternative programs for a couple weeks now, but that curl install went so smoothly that I was up and running in minutes once I found it. I've been monitoring my kegerator...

    oxidation problems when dry hopping

This was one of my suspicions too after my LHBS told me the are always on the hunt for breweries dumping their hops when they go out of business or similar methods of getting their hops, so who knows how old those suckers were. Just did my last batch with verified 2016 crop straight from Yakima...

    oxidation problems when dry hopping

Hops don't fade in a week though. I'm talking two weeks fermenting, then a couple days force carb. Tastes great then, but a week later, not even recognizable. I'm not talking about just a normal IPA either, Enjoy By is an overly bitter, malty mess in my opinion. But if you are going for a...

    oxidation problems when dry hopping

I can't really add any words of wisdom to this post, but I do want to share that I am having similar issues with my hoppy beers. Been doing lots of IPAs with massive late additions, whirlpool, and dry hops, and I even keg my beers, but I find that after just a couple weeks, the hop aromas and...

Single Tier, 3 Pump, BCS-462, Automated Rig

I will be heavily copying this design, but will be building a strut version of the stand. Thanks for all the great ideas.

Can't get my kegs to serve at the same pressure!?

So in case anyone else was wondering about this issue, I have found at least one problem that existed and it's a biggie. I purchased all my kegging equipment from beveragefactoy.com, of which I probably should have known better, but it's only a few miles from my house so I went for it. Turns...

Can't get my kegs to serve at the same pressure!?

I've already tried switching the gas lines, which definitely didn't help. I will try switching the dip tubes and I have some new o-rings that I can install. I usually use keg lube to ensure a good seal, but it's possible that there is an issue here somewhere. If neither of those work I'll try...

Can't get my kegs to serve at the same pressure!?

I always do the set and forget method. The beer in the good keg is a saison and the other a belgian ipa, both are in the mid 6% range with very similar FGs. I also tried switching the posts last night to no avail. I am truly stumped on this one.

Can't get my kegs to serve at the same pressure!?

That will probably be my next test. I will try to do it tonight and post the results.
