Hey All,
I just finished my Brutus build with keggles and 3 BG-14 burners. I did a test run last weekend and I was wondering what how far do ya'll space your burners from the bottom of your keggles?
Thanks!
Just took a measurement and my Farmhouse is at 1.010. Should I bottle now or does that Brett have some gusto left? It is about 3 months old. Also, any tips on bottling a 100% Brett Beer?
Thanks!
Thanks for the input. What is the average time for some airlock activity? It's been 48 hours and nothing yet. I know brett is pretty slow in general. May have underpitched a bit,but I'm not stressing, just curious. Thanks again
Ya, that is what I am thinking I am going to do. Just checked the gravity and it is already down to 1.008. So it shouldn't be too much longer. One thing that I really noticed was that there was some serious sulfur smell going on! It tasted light and slightly tart.
I have a Berliner that is in primary that is about 12 days old right now. I pitched with WL 630 Berliner Weisse Blend. I usually move my beers to a secondary after primary fermentation has completed, but I was kind of contemplating moving this one and "infecting" one of my good glass carboys...
