    White house beer

There she is! All grain. 7.1%, S05 yeast, Colorado honey, house roasted grains. I brewed this exactly one week ago today I believe. It's actually pretty damn tasty! If I make it again, I'll definitely add more bitterness. The honey adds a really nice floral component to it. Overall, I would...

    White house beer

I'll be keggin' mine on Monday. Pics soon! Also, my OG was 7.1 as well. Should come in just under 7%. To whoever was wondering, I did an all grain version, and did the math myself. That's how I came up with 7%.

Mash at 158-159, aim for a 1.07ish gravity. That oughta be sweet enough for ya!

Cool man. Yea, if you want that flavor keep the victory. I really feel you would hate the flavor of the honey malt in that beer. I've always found simple is better in recipes. You were obviously thinking "biscuit stout," so I would do the Victory (more even), black patent, chocolate, and leave...

    Home malting

I have been malting with only home Malts for a full year now! Glad to see someone else doing it too. Luckily I can buy my unmalted grains from Colorado Malting. People don't know what they are talking about. Every time I tell someone I do all my own roasting and malting, think my beer must...

    Quick turnaround techniques

I pretty much do everything everyone said (low ferm temp, then room temp to finish off). I cold crash as soon as I hit my final gravity. If I dry hop I do it in the keg while it's carbing. If not, I just shake it at 45 psi for two minutes. I almost never wait longer than 10 days to drink my...
