Damnit - sorry for grave digging...

That sound expensive. Why not change up your hopper? Or slightly smaller sheave? I have a similar setup I’m currently building. I used a 10” sheave - this was enough for the clearance required.

Maiden brew day. Ran a test batch to dial in the system & its efficiency.

Although it's a bit messy. I made a ton of progress. Panel is fired up and working. Valve manifold is assembled. Dry tests are complete. Adding H2O tomorrow running a few tests and if all goes well hopefully getting ~22lbs of grain wet to get some preliminary efficiency numbers.

What types of glycol chillers are those... They seem compact enough for my needs. I would like to ditch the AC unit I'm repurposing now.
