    Oxebar Keg?

    99.99% sure it will fit on a standard 3L PET soda bottle. I don’t have one, but I have the cap from one (that I used on an old 1 gal draft set up) and it fit the oxebar kegs I have.

    Was thinking the same thing, maybe a sous vide stick to kick things off. Once to temp, the thermal mass of the 6 gals should help keep things going.

    So I ran a random recipe with 6 gals of starting water. It took just under an hour to go from 61 to 152 degrees and another hour and change to go from 152 to boil (207). Session attached (I skipped the mash and boil cycles). So answer is yes, doable. Will be a long session with mash and boil...

    Thanks, that’s helpful info. Do you see any problem with the Zymatic’s ability to heat that volume of water to mash/boil temperatures? Using the Picobrew recipe crafter, a 5 gal recipe calls for 6.1 gal of total water volume.
