Going to start this this weekend I hope. But I've never brewed adding my own ingredients. So how many tea spoons of yeast and yeast nutrients would people recommend for 5 gallons worth of drink? I was thinking 5 tsp if each. Tsp per gallon? Our should I use less yeast?
I'm not sure. I've seen when looking around people boil it first so that the yeast can work. If not boiled I think the preservatives stop it fermenting.
Heard a bit about this. New to home brewing. Just got the typical plastic barrels etc etc. But has anyone got a recipe and guide for doing a good one. A proven one?they already done.
