I just got a King Kooker turkey fryer made of stainless steel. I use a long metal spoon to stir it the other day when I was making an ale. It now has minor scatches on the bottom of the brewpot...should I switch to a wooden spoon....is it normal to have scatches on a stainless steel brewpot...
I always brew 6 galons at a time with liquid yeast. Is it ok to use a combination of liquid yeast with half a pack of dry yeast rehydrated? Or is the 1 package of liquid yeast made for 5 gallons ok for the extra gallon?
