    First AG doesn't taste right, any ideas?

    This was my first time using Fuggle hops, I read how they were earthy but I didn't expect it to be this much I guess. I think that its likely that that is what I'm tasting though. I mashed at 156F for 90 minutes. I pitched at 70F and fermented at 68F.

    After tasting again I feel it has a butterscotch taste, I think it could be Diacetyl that I'm tasting. I've never had the issue before but my F.G. was a little high at 1.021, could a stuck fermentation cause an excess of Diacetyl? And no I'm not sure on the make-up of the water but I haven't...
