Just brewed this recipe today, I don't know why, I had a problem with conversion of my grains. Mash for 60min, and got 1.037 OG. It's gonna be a light beer.

I tried one today, it's not ready yet (need more bottle conditioning, not enough carbonation) nice taste, a good balance of Hops freshness/fruitiness and bitterness. This recipe is a keeper, I might try it with other hops (Simcoe, Cascade, Yakima)

Just tasted the beer after 7 days in the fermentor. Yummy, it's gonna be a good one. Got 1.056 OG, fermented with WLP001 California Ale and now my FG is 1.007 after 7 days. It seems a little bit low, this will be a stronger beer. I will wait and see, I pitched the 3oz of Citra to dry Hop...

As someone mentionned earlier, when I enter all the ingredients in Beersmith, my IBU are way lower. What is the boil size used for the Extract version ? Looks like it's a full 6.5+ gallons boil otherwise I get like 20 something IBU, I would need to seriously up the hops quantities to get...

What boiling volume did you use ? Did you boil a full 6 gallons or did you partial boil like 3 gallons then filled with water before pitching. I will be brewing this recipe soon and I don't want to mess it up. Thanks

I'm looking for a hoppy black ipa ? Is this one hoppy enough with IBUs in the 60s range ? I'm wondering if I should add more hops to get it in the 90s range, will it be too unbalanced ?

I brewed an extract version 2 weeks ago, this yeast is a beast, fermented to 1.002 in like 3 days. It was very cloudy, now it's starting to clear up. I should bottle it next week.
