- Started almost four years ago when my wife gave a homebrewing kit, plus an extra glass carboy, to me for Christmas. I entered my first competition this year (the Athens Homebrew Classic), scoring a 37 on my first attempt at a Belgian Dark Strong Ale. I think I know what to do to push it up to the forties.
