Thanks Mr. Impatient, I opened the top today, he water line for the air lock is a little low, but it does not smell “funky”, instead it smells like sweet beer. I’ve uploaded some images below. There is a little something inside the airlock but I don’t know if that’s a concern.

Hi Everyone, I’m a Newbie mead brewer. I made a simple mead last September (first fermentation) and completely forgot about it. Is the batch still viable? Can I rack it to a new container? The airlock is still in place but I don’t know if it has set too long and is bad. Thanks for your input!
