    Help?!?! Kegging??

Ahhh. Makes a lot of sense. This is a dumb question...but I'll ask it anyway. I have the lines running up in the tower to the taps. How do I install new lines through the tower? Also - does putting the gas line on the in or out make a difference when carbing? I thought I've heard it should go...

    Help?!?! Kegging??

But that's what I'm a little confused about. What's the point of 15 feet of line if it's just sitting in a kegerator? It's not like it's running an appreciable distance.

    Help?!?! Kegging??

So if I set it at 12 and keep drawing off the head space it'll equalize at 12 psi by next weekend. Right? How do you quickly carb? What's the best way to carb in general?

    Help?!?! Kegging??

It's just in a mini fridge so the lines aren't running a long distance. When I poured the first brew it came out with a vengeance!

    Help?!?! Kegging??

Hi, I think I may have made a mistake. I'm trying to keg beer for the first time. It's a lager. I did what the guy at the LHBS told me to do. 1. Sanitize, fill, and seal the keg. 2. Put the gas on the out. 3. Set psi to 50. 4. Lay on side and shake for 10-15 mins. 5. Let co2 out of...

    Thermostat bypass?

The temp controller has a 10 minute delay built into it to prevent sending the compressor to an early grave. I'm about 80% sure just connecting the two of them won't do any harm to the fridge but would rather wait to have the confirmation from a grizzled veteran! Spintab - Thank you kindly...

    Thermostat bypass?

Yes - The fridge will shut off but the temp controller will indicate that the cool mode is still on, so it's definitely something in the fridge that is telling it to shut off. The thermostat is fridge compartment but I'm not 100% where that white wire runs to, it looks like the wire may run...

    Thermostat bypass?

Yep. I also tightened the set screw. It works now that I have it at 50 but I'm afraid it won't get down to the 37ish that I need to have it at when it's lagering for a few months. This is the first time I've had to do this so so I'm not sure if I'm completely unfounded in my fears. This...

    Thermostat bypass?

I've attached pictures of the thermostat. There appears to be two black wires, one orange, along with an aluminum looking wire. How would I bypass the thermomstat without damaging the refrigerator?

    Thermostat bypass?

Hi, I recently bought a fridge off CL and made an eBay temp controller. Things have worked beautifully until today. Yesterday I brewed my first lager and set the temp to 50f after giving it 24 hours to get fermentation started. The fridge keeps kicking the compressor off at 55f. Some...

    Haier 4.2cu minifridge into kegerator

Good stuff man! Not trying to question your judgement but are you sure both will fit in there? I cut two 8.5" diameter circles out of paper and they didn't fit.
