    Brew Boss Systems

Here's what Darin told me when I asked about it way back in 2016: That said, I have a brewpiless fermentation temp control system I built that works with the BrewBoss probe. I designed my system to use the same pinout so when I'm done brewing I can pull the probe from one system and plug it...

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

Thank you for the offer. I'm in California so the shipping probably doesn't make it worth it. Unless there's someone here in the US that can just put one in an envelope with a postage stamp I'll probably just order a small batch.

Anyone have any extra of the newer iSpindel PCBs they'd be willing to part with? Something like one of these? I built up an iSpindel a few years back with the original printed tray design and while it worked well, one of the connections is bad and I'd like to rebuild it with the newer PCB design.

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

In this post @pocketmon mentions how he got a glycol option working in Brewpiless. I've been using it with my glycol system for the past 10 months without a problem.

I use Google Drive to get files to my tablet. Dropbox would work too, or even email it to yourself (assuming you can get your email on the tablet). After that you need a File Explorer app to move the file from where you downloaded it to the Brew-Boss/Step files folder.

Personally, I don't use the app to edit steps unless there's a small adjustment to timing. Try this STP generator webpage done by user @Snicklefritz instead: http://brewingintheburgh.com/brew-boss/index.html It's much easier to edit and rearrange steps with this generator than the app...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I had a similar issue with my build and it ended up being a bad solder joint. I went back and checked the connectivity between all of the Wemos pins and their eventual output off of the carrier board and it turned out that one of the pins on the line-level shifter wasn't connected.

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

The general, non-secure, method is to configure your router to forward a specific port to the internal network IP of your brewpiless (You'll need to research the method for doing this for your particular router). Then, to get to your brewpiless from outside your network you go to...

3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

I've been using the ball-valve post and pressure relief valve that Nathan sells to do pressure transfers for the past two years. In fact, I go a step further than this video by purging the keg with CO2 and keeping the lid on during transfers, using the keg valve for pressure relief...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Have you given any though to adding the glycol system support that @pocketmon mentioned back in this post?

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

I was checking out the updated version history and I don't understand this line: Default configurable minimum cooling/heating time & back-up sensor. (That is, Glycol supported.) I've currently got the previous v24_ispindel version running with my glycol system (compiled with the glycol...

Thanks. That got it built without any errors. I'll try it out when I get home this afternoon.

There should be an LED for each channel on the relay that lights up when the relay is on.

I tried to build this version and get the error below. I didn't get this error when building the 2.3.3 version a few weeks ago.

I clamped mine between two pieces of wood right where I wanted the bend to be then just bent it. I did a little at a time and checked the fit in the BIAC before proceeding with more.
