I'm no expert but I have had my share of slow starts. I would wait till tomorrow to pitch any more yeast. You could wake up tomorrow morning and it will be like you had a visit from ol' Santa.

I have noticed a lag in WL yeasts. They have also made some of my best beers. Safale dry yeasts have been some of the fastest acting. Give it time--I had one that took over 48 hours to start--12 hours after the start I was about to blow out my airlock.
I have been using my dishwasher to sanitize my bottles. All the time I was using it we didn't have any Jetdry in the machine. Well now my wife has put some in. I have heard don't use Jetdry but I haven't heard why. Is it going to ruin my next batch?

I have two batches under my belt (Coopers Lager and steaped grain IPA). I was thinking about making a stout but realized a stout after yard work sounded about as good as a glass of water drank from my dirty sneakers.

Just an update. Bottled this batch tonight. Whoo it was good! Even flat is was good..and not a hint of swimming pool. This is why I got back into HB!

My ever helpful sister-in-law is calling it Down by the Pool IPA. You too can enjoy. Just add a shot of good summertime pool water to your favorite brew.

This is my second batch after a long absence from HB.
I tried the Palilalia IPA from JoHB 3rd Edition. It was all going fine until.....
1. I forgot to take my sample to get OG. I took a sample about 3 hours after putting the carboy away. Not a big deal...right? My OG is kinda high based on...
